WOGP Opinion: Now that the U.S election is over and America has elected Donald Trump as their President Elect whom has been very controversial with his pro-wall, being anti-Muslim, anti-Women, anti-LGBT, mocks the disabled and uses vulgar words towards women over the past 15 months. How can Americans see Trump in a president? We at WOGP are very lost for words indeed with the result. Many loyal Democrats had pinned and hoped for the very first woman president after Tuesdays dramatic and nail biting turn of events in the state by state count. Could this win for the Donald be part the Anti-LGBTQ dream within the likes of Trump's VP Mike Pence who could help overturn Marriage Equality and help push for the controversial Conversion Therapy within their first 4 year term? We don't know but we do know that to overturn any laws that have passed in the past from the U.S Supreme Court can be overturned with a 2/3 or 75% vote majority or more, which could see America turn back many years of hard work with already great progress with equality in the LGBT community.

WOGPNews: The clever marketing team at Ikea have come up with a controversial novel ideal to sell stuff, Ikea is showing less of its stuff in its latest ad campaign, reports AdWeek, and what it’s showing instead is a more diverse selection of Ikea customers enjoying its stuff. For example, one ad features models playing a mixed race gay couple chilling on an Ikea sofa enjoying a cup of java and each other’s company in front of the television.
They’re hardly the first gay characters in an Ikea ad, of course. AdWeek reports that tradition dates way back to 1994. But what’s different is that they are part of a broader campaign to focus on people instead of just the merchandise, and the agency behind the ad gives a very affirming nod to marriage equality and equal rights with a prominent banner flying next to their couch, proclaiming “All homes are created equal.”

Brazil may have only finished ninth in the inaugural Olympic Games’ Rugby Sevens tournament, but Brazilian player Isadora Cerullo had a golden moment when her partner Marjorie Enya proposed to her after the final between Australia and New Zealand.
While most of the spotlight, and cameras, were on the winning side Australia and the other medal winners, Ms Enya found Cerullo on the field and asked her to marry her.
FRANKFORT, Ky. -- A Kentucky clerk who spent five days in jail for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples asked a federal appeals court Tuesday to dismiss a lawsuit against her because of a new state law that will take effect next month.
Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis stopped issuing all marriage licenses after a U.S. Supreme Court ruling effectively legalized gay marriage last year. Two gay couples and two straight couples sued her. A federal judge ordered her to issue the licenses, but she refused and went to jail.
This comment about Teen Wolf's Charlie Carver's 'coming out' story is why we shouldn't "get over it"
It has been only 12 days since the new year has just begun, 2015 was full of surprises with good and many bad issues all over the globe, so on the 12th January which was only 2 days ago MTV's Teen Wolf star and 27 year old twin Charlie Carver came out in a very serious 5 part coming out story on his official Instagram.
Yet when stories like coming out stories come out today like last year in 2015 and now in 2016 saying 'get over it' or 'who cares' means you don't care about fighting for ALL countries on a global stance on LGBT issues and Equality.
Today and every other day for at least another 100-200 years we will have to keep fighting the hard slog fight for global recognition and full equality on all LGBT related issues and life in general.
So here is a Facebook comment from a MTV follower Moriah in explaining to those who whined about Charlie Carver's coming out story.

WOGPNews - A recently erected billboard in Auckland New Zealand has made light of Caitlyn Jenner's recent sex change and angered members of the transgender community.
It featured the photo from her Vanity Fair cover shoot wearing a Santa hat and the words; "I hope your sack is fuller than mine this Christmas. Merry Christmas from Cranium".
Rebecca Jones, the mother of a 9-year-old transgender boy, said the billboard was transphobic.
"I find this absolutely disgusting."
She said the director of the company seemed not to take a complaint made about the billboard seriously and was "quite insulting".
An email from the director, Phillip Garratt, indicated the billboard would be removed.
He said there was no way he'd discriminate against anyone and that the words on the billboard were "referring to a Santa sack" and nothing else.
A post on his company's Facebook page also issued an apology and indicated the billboard had been taken down.
"It was not our intention to offend any people in the community ... Cait is more then [sic] welcome to stay at my house with my family anytime. I will have a wine or a beer with her quite happily and it would be an honour."
There's been a mixed response on social media with some taking the opportunity to make light of Ms Jenner, while others have been quite critical.
Jesse Evenblij said the billboard was "seriously horrible".
"The company should be ashamed. People just have no clue how Caitlyn has literally saved lives by making transgender 'normal'. Young people can look up to Caitlyn and realise they aren't alone."
